Student answer (Band 6.5)

Keeping everything organized and clean would help a person to increase his productivity level and save time. Some people argue that this strategy should be followed at a workplace as well as at home. I totally agree with the above mentioned statement and explanation in detail would be discussed below with relevant examples.

To begin with, cleanliness and organized things always helps to increase productivity of an individual. People would never feel fatigue whenever they see clean environment around them. It would help them to elevate their mood . When everything is placed at right place then people would not waste their time in finding things at workplace. They will be only focused towards their work. As a result, this would help them to complete their work on time before the deadline if every stuff they want to use is available on their desk. Furthermore, messy environment would also affect the mental health. A person would feel very frustrated and anxious if surrounded by a dirty floor at workplace or at home.

Moreover, keep significant things at its correct place will save things from loosing. Sometime a person in a hurry situation usually misplace things. This really puts him in a depressed mood when he finds out that he had lost his most precious item. Consequently, putting thing sin order provides a person a strong sense of peace and accomplishment. For instance, a research shows that careless people often loose important things such a property documents, gold or their valid identity.

To conclude, according to my opinion people must take care of their things by putting them at right place and keep their surrounding tidy. This is good for an individual safety and their mental wellbeing.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed the prompt well by clearly stating your agreement and providing supporting arguments for both the workplace and home environments. Your position is consistent throughout the essay. The ideas regarding productivity and mental health are relevant and developed with examples, such as the mention of property documents and identity papers. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting examples are more specific and integrated more smoothly into the argument. For instance, instead of a general reference to 'a research', you could describe a hypothetical scenario or a more specific observation to strengthen the impact of your points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'Moreover' to guide the reader through your arguments. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing, such as 'organized things' or 'every stuff', which occasionally disrupt the flow. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their intended nouns to enhance the overall cohesion of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'productivity', 'fatigue', and 'wellbeing'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'organized things' instead of 'an organized environment', 'every stuff' (which is grammatically incorrect as 'stuff' is uncountable), and 'loosing' instead of 'losing'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit your score. To progress, focus on learning the correct collocations for common nouns and avoid using informal or imprecise phrasing. Expanding your range of academic vocabulary would also be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'cleanliness and organized things always helps') and article usage. Additionally, there are minor punctuation and phrasing issues, such as 'putting thing sin order'. While these errors rarely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, pay closer attention to pluralization and subject-verb agreement, and try to incorporate more complex sentence structures with greater precision to demonstrate better control over your grammar.
