Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is a view that some individuals believe that it is essential to keep your house and your workplace neat and clean, with well-organized and in the proper place. If asked, I support this view, because hygiene is very important in life and it shows your personality and character. My stand is reasoned in detail with explanation and examples.
The primary argument to prove my point is that, If your home and workplace tidy then only people feel more energetic and able to focus on their work. Because, places like mess or not cleaned might affect on your brain and gives you a negative vibes. For example,
small animals like, rats can make a space in untidy places because of not hygiene and cleaned. Moreover, it is easy to find things if you have organized things in the correct place and it saves your time.
The another reason to prove my point is that, there are chances of malaria, dengue and fever by keeping your home and workplace dirty, because of mosquitoes bites and it leads to serious health issues. So it is crucial to keep everything organized and clean at everywhere. For instance, thousands of people suffered from health problems because, some people taking things granted like to keep your home and workplace neat and clean. In addition, if your home and workplace is clean and organized then it shows your personality and reflect a good impression to others.
To conclude, there are several reasons for an importance of keeping workplace and home tidy that I mentioned in earlier paragraphs and my reasons and examples prove that this is true.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position in favor of keeping spaces tidy. The ideas are relevant, focusing on productivity, health, and social impressions. However, the development is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding health issues (malaria/dengue) is a bit extreme for a general discussion on tidiness, and the explanation of 'personality' is underdeveloped. While the task is addressed, the supporting points could be more nuanced to reach a higher band. The conclusion is also quite brief and merely restates the introduction rather than summarizing the main points effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. There is a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'The another reason to prove my point is that' and 'If your home and workplace tidy then only people feel...'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the transition between the health argument and the personality argument feels abrupt.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There is some repetition of phrases like 'home and workplace' and 'neat and clean'. The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary (e.g., 'hygiene', 'organized'), but there are errors in collocation and word choice, such as 'places like mess' instead of 'messy places' and 'taking things granted' instead of 'taking things for granted'. These errors do not impede communication, but they limit the range of expression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some individuals believe that it is essential...'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'If your home and workplace tidy then only people feel...'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are errors in comma usage. While the meaning is usually clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band, as the control over complex structures is inconsistent.
