Student answer (Band 6.5)
Some people believe that it is essential for us to keep our home as well as the workplace fully organised. I totally agree with the statement.
To begin with, Everyone is getting busy in this fast growing life and often feel laziness while it comes to cleaning. In terms of the house, It is important to keep it well arranged and clean as it makes a great influence on the guests. Even the elders used to say that tidy place attracts good wealth and positivity. Keeping the place organised not only create a good impression but also influence others to keep it clean.
Moreover, It is also important that the workplace should be tidy, and all the belongings should be put away after used. The workplace or the specific location is also the place someone else would be using in our absence. Therefore, It is our responsibility to keep it arranged. It is also matter of the safety as it can create incidents just because people do not put things where it should be after using. For example, I was working in the waste management company and, one of my co-workers got injured by the sharp object that was left behind by other co-worker without giving any notice to anyone. Although it is not mandatory for people to clean the workplace, but it can save someone from getting injured.
In conclusion, It is true that people sometimes feel lazy to keep the place tidy. However, It is our responsibility to organise the place as it not only influence others but also can be unsafe for people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt clearly and maintains a consistent position throughout. You have provided relevant reasons for both the home and workplace environments, and the inclusion of a personal anecdote regarding workplace safety adds depth to your argument. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited; for instance, the point about 'good wealth and positivity' is a bit vague and could have been expanded with more logical reasoning. To reach a higher band, ensure that every point is fully explored with clear, logical support rather than relying on general statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific aspect of the prompt. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, the flow within paragraphs is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel a bit repetitive. Additionally, there are some minor issues with referencing, such as the phrase 'It is also matter of the safety', which lacks a proper determiner. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'essential', 'fully organised', and 'responsibility'. There are some instances of slightly unnatural phrasing, such as 'Everyone is getting busy in this fast growing life' and 'feel laziness'. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and avoiding word-for-word translations of idiomatic concepts.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, such as 'It is also matter of the safety' (missing article), 'after used' (should be 'after use' or 'after being used'), and 'not only influence others but also can be unsafe' (parallelism error). Capitalization is also inconsistent, with random mid-sentence capitalization. These errors do not impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent article usage.
