Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often considered that it is essential to maintain cleanliness at personal and professional places, and things should be organized and keep in the right place. In my opinion, organizing things in the correct place, minimize the efforts and time to find objects, and also gives positive vibes.
One of the primary reasons why things should be organized whether at home or in the office is that neat and clean places provide positive atmosphere. This is largely because a tidy office helps to increase the productivity of the employees as they can highly concentrate on their presentations provided that there is no mess around them. In addition, a clean and organized house always pleased the guests, and as soon as they entered the house, they filled with pleasure and sense of connectivity. Therefore, it is evident that an organized place has numerous positive impact on people's mood.
Another significant consideration is that by keeping things on a right places do not create mess while finding things. Since an organized working desk not only looks attractive, but it also create a personal tough, which enables employees to work more efficiently. A clear example of this can be seen in an office where workers create mess at their desk, and they waste their valuable time to find the needed things that sometimes take a lot of efforts. Hence, it is vital to know the importance of keeping things on place.
To conclude, a tidy and organized home as well as workplace have a number of advantages, such as it provides positive attitude, and helps to find things promptly.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion on the importance of tidiness at home and work. The ideas are relevant and supported by examples, such as the impact on employee productivity and the impression made on guests. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive, and the arguments could be more deeply explored to reach a higher band. For instance, the link between 'positive vibes' and productivity is mentioned but not fully elaborated upon. The position is consistent throughout, and all parts of the task are addressed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices are present, such as 'In addition', 'Therefore', and 'Another significant consideration', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the phrasing 'keeping things on a right places' which disrupts the logical progression of the sentence. Overall, the text is easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are some attempts at less common collocations, such as 'positive atmosphere' and 'work more efficiently'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'personal tough' (likely meant 'personal touch'), 'pleased the guests' (should be 'please'), and 'keeping things on place' (should be 'in place'). These errors do not impede communication but limit the range and precision of the language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the writer attempts complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and preposition usage. Examples include 'things should be organized and keep in the right place' (should be 'kept'), 'they filled with pleasure' (should be 'are filled'), and 'do not create mess' (should be 'does not'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the frequency of these grammatical slips prevents the essay from reaching a higher band, as they occur in almost every paragraph.
