Student answer (Band 6.0)

Some individuals believe that cleaning and organizing everything at home and workplace is important these days. It helps to develop positivity in surrounding environment and makes people's life more peaceful. I completely agree with this view point and explain my opinion in subsequent paragraphs.

To begin with, tidy workplaces and houses often result in reducing stress level. Because if their home and workplace is clean then their mind is free from any kind of burden. For instance, 'Berham Freda' a famous editor, in his editorial, 'Human Behavior' stated that a person who's surrounding atmosphere is tidy, he feel more relax and fresh than others who have untidy workplace and home. As a result, tidy workplace and home highly impact their aura.

Another significant factor is organizing things at perfect place, so it can be accessible for anyone. Furthermore, it saves time and energy of people. The reason of this is when someone keep everything at right place then they can focus on other work rather than organizing things frequently. It improves organizational skills. For example, keeping all things at right place shows person's ability, and strength. In addition to this, organizing thins makes person more discipline, and active. It develop person's ability and increase productivity of a company. Consequently, Organizing activities are essential for saving time and optimizing production level.

In Conclusion, I firmly opine that keeping home and workplace tidy and organizing is more important to remove negativity and empowering person's ability and confidence. These activities leads to significant success at higher level for any company and home.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position in favor of maintaining a tidy environment. The ideas are relevant, focusing on stress reduction and time management. However, the development is somewhat repetitive. For instance, the second paragraph mentions 'tidy workplace and home' multiple times, and the third paragraph repeats the idea of 'keeping things at the right place' without adding significant depth. While the position is clear throughout, the supporting arguments could be more nuanced or varied to reach a higher band. The example provided is somewhat generic, and the link between 'organizational skills' and 'company productivity' is asserted rather than fully explored.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. For example, the transition 'The reason of this is' is grammatically awkward and disrupts the flow. Additionally, the referencing within sentences is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'For example, keeping all things at right place shows person's ability, and strength', where the connection to the previous point is slightly disjointed. Overall, the progression of ideas is logical, but the cohesion lacks the flexibility required for a higher band.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range expected at higher levels. There is some repetition of basic terms like 'tidy', 'workplace', 'home', and 'organizing'. While the student attempts to use some academic-style vocabulary (e.g., 'subsequent', 'optimizing', 'productivity'), there are errors in collocation and word choice, such as 'organizing thins' (typo) and 'at perfect place' (should be 'in the perfect place'). The vocabulary is sufficient to convey the message clearly, but it does not demonstrate a wide range of less common lexical items or sophisticated control over word choice.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('a person who's surrounding atmosphere is tidy, he feel more relax'), missing articles ('at right place'), and awkward phrasing ('Organizing activities are essential for saving time'). While the meaning is generally clear, the control over complex structures is inconsistent. The punctuation is mostly functional, but the frequent minor errors in grammar prevent the essay from reaching a higher band, as the majority of sentences are not error-free.
