Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion on the importance of tidiness. However, the essay falls slightly short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which impacts the overall development of ideas. While the main points regarding productivity and mental well-being are relevant, they are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, you should expand on your examples and ensure that each paragraph provides a more detailed exploration of the topic to meet the length requirement and demonstrate a more thorough development of your position.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'As per my notions' and 'Another reason that I want to interpret'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between ideas could be smoother. While there is a logical flow, the lack of sophisticated linking words limits the coherence. Improving the variety of transition signals and ensuring that each sentence connects logically to the next will help elevate your score in this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'prosperity', 'inevitable', and 'hygienic'. However, there are instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'hygeine that gave rise to the abundance of opportunities' and 'relaxation of brain'. Some phrasing is repetitive, and there are minor spelling errors (e.g., 'assisst'). To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and academic vocabulary that fits the context of the essay more naturally, while ensuring spelling accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'A clean home... increase the chances') and sentence fragments or run-on sentences (e.g., 'When you are in a good and happy mood... will automatically Elevate your attitude'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary commas and capitalization issues. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical slips to ensure your complex sentences are error-free.
