Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people believe that is essential to keep both house and office clean and tidy. I strongly agree with this view. This essay will discussed view and with relevant examples.
Firstly, keeping things in their proper place can save a considerable amount of time. When people organize their stuff, they can easily find what they need, Without any wasting their time for specific items. This is particularly important in work place, because employers often have to deal with documents, equipment and digital files. In office culture they can make work schedule for meeting deadline and organized record of work without any interruption.
Secondly, a tidy home can have a positive effect on people mental well being. Messy things always leads to distracted and stressed, where clean and well organised space can create sense of clam. In my personal experience, I find easier to concentrate in my study when I keeping my desk clean and easy to access things which I need.
Moreover, cleanliness and well maintained things also create a positive impression on others. Professional workplace suggest that employers are more responsible for any deal or projects. For example, in restaurants employers have to maintain their hygiene.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion and providing relevant reasons. However, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely limits the depth of development. While the ideas regarding time management and mental well-being are relevant, they are not fully extended or supported with sufficient detail. The conclusion is also missing, which is a key component of a well-structured essay. Due to the failure to meet the length requirement and the resulting lack of development, the score is limited.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Moreover' to signal the progression of ideas. Paragraphing is present, though the structure is somewhat simplistic. There are instances where the flow is slightly disjointed, such as the transition into the final paragraph. While the ideas are generally easy to follow, the lack of a concluding paragraph and the brevity of the response mean that the overall organization lacks the sophistication required for higher bands.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their opinion clearly. There are some attempts at topic-specific vocabulary like 'well-being', 'distracted', and 'hygiene'. However, there are also some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'messy things always leads to distracted' (should be 'leads to distraction') and 'professional workplace suggest' (should be 'suggests'). The range is somewhat limited, and the errors occasionally detract from the precision of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of the text. Examples include 'This essay will discussed' (should be 'will discuss'), 'Without any wasting their time' (should be 'without wasting time'), and 'I find easier to concentrate' (should be 'I find it easier'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. More attention to subject-verb agreement and sentence construction is needed.
