Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people thinks that it important to keep home and workplace clean and tidy, with everything is organised in mannerfull way. I personally believe that it right to keep your workplace and home tidy.
One reason to keep home and workplace tidy is that, if the place we live and work is clean and organised it is easy to find different stuff without wasting time and putting extra efforts to locate the things. Moreover, it also give a sense of discipline to our office collegues as we spend a lpt time with them. For instance, if a person have a lot of files in his cabin and his/her boss asked for a particular file, may be sales file then it is easy to find that file without getting stressed out if everything is organised properly.
In addition to this, a person spends good time at workplace and at home so, if everything is clean and tidy as well as organised it makes the person feel more happier and more relaxed. Furthermore, keeping the stuff in an organised way provides a person with enough space to add new items in that particular place. it also encourages a person to decorate his/her place which makes the places looks more better.
To conclude, it is really important for a person to keep you home and your workplace tidy as well as organised. it helps to save a person's crucial time, gives a sense of disicpline and belongingness to that particular place where the person lives and works for a longer period of time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position in favor of keeping home and work environments tidy. The ideas are relevant, focusing on efficiency, stress reduction, and the psychological benefits of an organized space. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument about 'discipline' is mentioned but not fully explored. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more nuanced examples or explore the potential downsides of being overly obsessed with tidiness to create a more balanced and sophisticated discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'In addition to this', and 'To conclude' to link your ideas. However, the flow is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel slightly forced. Additionally, there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as the use of 'it' without a precise antecedent. Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally from the previous one will help improve the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic descriptors like 'clean', 'tidy', and 'good time'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'mannerfull way', which is not standard English. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms and idiomatic expressions. For example, instead of 'find different stuff', you could use 'locate essential items' or 'retrieve documents'. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic or formal terms will significantly enhance your lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede the reader's flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Some people thinks', 'a person have'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms ('makes the places looks more better'). While you attempt some complex sentence structures, they are often marred by these errors. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and proofreading for common slips like pluralization and article usage. Increasing the variety of your sentence structures while maintaining accuracy is key to achieving a higher band score.
