Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position in favor of keeping homes and workplaces tidy. The ideas regarding time management and productivity are relevant and supported by examples. However, the development is somewhat limited; the examples, such as the 'survey of 2025' and the anecdote about 'Jack', are quite simplistic and lack depth. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on the underlying reasons for these benefits rather than relying on generic or invented statistics. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, merely restating the introduction without adding a final thought or synthesis.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Firstly', 'In addition', and 'Secondly' to link your points. However, the use of these devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, and the flow between sentences could be improved by using more varied transition words. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the final paragraph is very brief and lacks a strong concluding statement.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use common phrases like 'very important', 'great benefits', and 'lot of positivity' repeatedly. There are also some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'will not leads them' (should be 'will not lead them') and 'loose items' (should be 'lose items'). To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to organization and productivity, and ensure you are using the correct forms of words in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the quality of the writing. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('tidy rooms and offices plays vital role') and incorrect verb forms ('will not leads them'). Punctuation errors, such as the double comma in the conclusion, also detract from the overall accuracy. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency.
