Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion in favor of organization. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention a Harvard study and the habits of successful business people, these points are quite generalized and lack specific, concrete detail to fully support the argument. The essay remains somewhat repetitive, focusing on the same concept of 'balance' and 'correct place' without exploring the psychological or practical benefits of tidiness in depth. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting examples are more detailed and directly linked to the specific benefits of an organized environment.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'In addition to this,' and 'To sum up' to signal the structure. However, the progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and the connection between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition between the Harvard study and the conclusion is abrupt. The use of referencing is generally clear, but the overall flow would benefit from a wider variety of linking words and more sophisticated transitions between ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on common phrases like 'well organised,' 'correct place,' and 'successful.' There are also some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'highest successful employees' (should be 'most successful') and 'business man' (should be 'businessmen'). To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary related to productivity, efficiency, and environmental psychology, and ensure that you use plural forms and collocations correctly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include spelling mistakes like 'sould' (should), 'preform' (perform), 'sechdule' (schedule), and 'sturctured' (structured). There are also punctuation and agreement issues, such as 'many famous business man in many country' (should be 'businessmen in many countries'). While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and spelling accuracy.
