Student answer (Band 5.5)
Cleanliness plays an important role to make every place great whether it is house or a workplace. I am strongly with this statement the workplace and house mus be neat and clean and evreything must be at their place and in order.
First of all, home is aplace where we relax and spend time with our family members. If the home is neat and clean it gives us postive and refresh our mind. As well as it also pervent from growth of bacterias that cause illnes and our house smells good. Alongwith, keeping things at their place and in symetrical order not onle makes place looks good also helps to find thins easily without wasting valueable time.
In addition, if we take the scenario of workplace there must be proper hygenic environment because people from different place a common room that will pervent spreading of viral infections. As well as clean environment at workplace helps employees make feel better and has a good effect on their productivity. Moreover, area must be organised that will help the proper utilization of that particular area. Individuals have easy accessibility to the everything they need throughout the shift.
In my opinion the workplace and house must be neat and clean it not only make place look beautifully but also good vibes to the individuals and by this place become more refreshing and elevate the hygeine of that particular area. And, the area must be well organised things must be in the symetrical order so when we need anything we don not need to hustle to find that item.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating an opinion in support of keeping both homes and workplaces tidy and well-organised. The writer provides reasons and examples for both environments, such as promoting relaxation and preventing illness at home, and improving productivity and hygiene in the workplace. The position is clear throughout the text. However, some ideas are slightly repetitive, particularly in the conclusion where points regarding hygiene, organization, and visual appeal are restated without adding significant new depth. While all parts of the task are covered and the main arguments are relevant and supported, the development of ideas stops short of being fully elaborated, placing this performance at Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is arranged into four paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs focusing separately on the home and the workplace, and a conclusion. There is a clear overall progression of ideas, with explicit signposting such as 'First of all,' and 'In addition,'. However, cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, as seen in expressions like 'Alongwith,' and 'As well as it also pervent from growth of bacterias'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different settings, but referencing and transitions between sentences occasionally feel abrupt. Overall, the organization is coherent, but the execution of cohesive ties and occasional awkward links prevent it from reaching a higher band, aligning well with the Band 6.0 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating topic-related terms such as 'cleanliness', 'hygienic environment', 'productivity', and 'accessibility'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'bacterias' instead of 'bacteria', 'illnes' instead of 'illness', 'symetrical' instead of 'symmetrical', and 'thins' instead of 'things'. These lexical errors and awkward collocations like 'symetrical order' restrict the range of vocabulary and demonstrate limited precision. While meaning is generally conveyed, the frequency of spelling inaccuracies and basic word forms keeps the lexical score at a Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting structures such as 'if the home is neat and clean it gives us postive and refresh our mind'. However, there are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text, including missing prepositions, subject-verb agreement issues ('the workplace and house mus be neat and clean'), and run-on sentences with missing conjunctions or commas. For example, 'makes place looks good also helps' lacks necessary grammatical links. Although some complex structures are attempted, the high frequency of basic errors causes some difficulty for the reader and places the grammar score at Band 5.0.
