Student answer (Band 6.0)
With a fast-paced environment, every person probably face a dilemma of learning new things as well as adapting to new environment. In all such hustle-bustle, on thing which intrinsically gives a sense of tranquility is individual's surrounding. As preferable, one should be organised in terms of placing every item on its fixed place. I am genuinely intriguied by those personalities who are extremely specific in terms of fixing a spot for every single item of their use.
At workplace, especially those who have assign offices to operate their work have a few items form company sides such as laptop, files, a notebook and a pen holder. Rest all the items are employees own accessories such as carry bags, a journal, a lunch box, a photophrame of family. Furthermore, there are some workers who would prefer to park every single item of them on the given desk and leave a little blank space. On other hand, there are some employees who would rather choose to occupy every single corner of the same table. There is a underlying reason for it, a mind works in its best capacity or smooth when the working environment is cluttered-free and in order. Additionally, it improves focus and aids in quick decision-making.
Moving towards its opposite side, when people are not tidious they struggled with time-mamgement. As most of their time devotes to find items that they kept somewhere randomly. Sometimes, this leads to delays or cancelation of plans such as passport is indeed required by airport authorities while checking-in and in scenario suppose a person fails to discover a passport at home. How would be the plan go without interuption? Further, it leads to wastage of time, money, chances of disputes in family and a blame game as well.
To avoid such haphazard, being tidy and clear is more lucrative option instead of turning the whole house as a store from where to find out any required item appears to be a task.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the importance of a tidy home and workplace, presenting a clear personal opinion supporting organization. Ideas are extended, particularly in the workplace and time-management examples, such as how clutter leads to wasted time and missed items like a passport. However, some arguments lack complete development and occasionally lean towards over-generalisation. The stance is maintained throughout the essay, and the relevant examples from everyday life appropriately support the position. While the conclusion is slightly abrupt, the task has been adequately covered, aligning well with the descriptors for a Band 6.5 to Band 7.0 response. Consequently, a score of 6.5 is awarded to reflect the slightly under-developed supporting details in places.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The text demonstrates a logical overall arrangement with a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to workplace scenarios, negative consequences of untidiness, and a concluding thought. Paragraphing is utilised adequately to separate distinct points. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For instance, transitional phrases like 'Moving towards its opposite side' feel a bit unnatural, and referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'when people are not tidious they struggled with time-mamgement.' The use of cohesive devices could be smoother and more flexible to reach higher bands. Because the progression is generally easy to follow despite mechanical links, a Band 6.0 is appropriate.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The writer attempts a range of vocabulary appropriate for the task, successfully using terms like 'tranquility', 'hustle-bustle', 'cluttered-free', and 'lucrative option'. However, there are noticeable lexical and spelling inaccuracies throughout the text, such as 'intriguied' instead of 'intrigued', 'photophrame' instead of 'photo frame', 'tidious' instead of 'tedious' or 'tidy', and 'mamgement' instead of 'management'. Additionally, collocations are occasionally awkward, such as 'park every single item'. Despite these errors, the range is adequate to convey meaning without impeding communication, fitting the Band 6.0 profile.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt at varied structures through clauses like 'when the working environment is cluttered-free and in order.' However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasings, such as 'every person probably face', 'on thing which intrinsically gives', 'assign offices', 'items form company sides', and 'in scenario suppose a person fails'. Punctuation and verb-agreement issues also recur. These errors do not entirely impede communication, but they restrict the text to Band 5.0 because the frequent grammatical lapses in complex structures cause some difficulty for the reader.
