Student answer (Band 6.0)
Several individuals believe that it is very essential to keep home and office well organised and every thing must be at appropriate place. In my opinion, this is an excellent habit and it depicts the sense of discipline in the life of a person. There are a myriad of reasons to prove this notion to be rational.
First and foremost, the reason is that the organisation in homes and offices save our times and enhance the productivity. If the things are not placed appropriately there would be messy looks of home and workplace although the things are very expensive.
In addition, it reflects the peace of mind to keep every thing properly, when our surroundings are spotless and tidy, we can work more efficiently, because tidiness triggers our mind to release serotonin and endorphins, that are happy hormones and increase the quality of working and critical thinking. On the other hand, if surroundings of an office worker is not neat and clean he might has confusion in his work, due to lack of focus and wasting time in search of important files or documents. Simultaneously, in household life if a woman is not deciplined her home will always be messy and untidy.
Our institutes teache us decipline since the early classes, and it is pertinent for the parents and teachers to instill the quality of decipline in the children, so that they can becom a good citizen.
To recapitulate, the above mentioned reasons prove that it is very beneficial for individuals to organise things everywhere whether homr or office.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the opening: you consider an organised home and workplace an excellent habit. You address both settings and give relevant reasons, including saving time, improving productivity, and helping people focus; the example of searching for office files makes one point concrete. This meets the task well, and the response shows some of the stronger development expected at the next level. However, several claims are asserted rather than explained: the link between tidiness and “serotonin and endorphins,” for instance, needs support or a more cautious explanation. The point about a woman’s household discipline is also generalised and not developed. Extend these ideas with specific examples and explain how they support your opinion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your view, the body presents reasons, and the final sentence restates your position. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “In addition,” and “To recapitulate” help signal the stages of the argument. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but connections are sometimes mechanical or unclear. “On the other hand” suggests a contrast, although the following sentence continues the point about untidy surroundings. The paragraph also moves from workplace focus to household roles and then to schools and parenting without clearly showing how these points relate. Use fewer formulaic transitions and group related examples together, with clearer links between each reason and your main opinion.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “organised,” “productivity,” “surroundings,” “tidy,” and “instill,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “pertinent” and “recapitulate.” These choices allow you to communicate your main ideas. Some less common wording is inaccurate or unnatural, however: “messy looks,” “save our times,” and “the quality of working” do not express the intended meanings idiomatically. There are also spelling errors, including “deciplined,” “teache,” “becom,” and “homr,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully; precise, familiar phrasing is more effective than formal expressions used awkwardly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If the things are not placed appropriately…” and a clause beginning “so that they can…”. Meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “the organisation … save our times” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “he might has confusion” uses the wrong verb form after a modal. Other examples include “surroundings of an office worker is” and “a woman is not deciplined her home will…”, where agreement or sentence structure needs correction. Review modal patterns (“might have”), singular and plural agreement, and punctuation around longer clauses. More consistent control of these structures would make your argument easier to follow.
