Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the contemporary world, keeping a work desk and house clean and in good manners has become increasingly popular. Some people believe that it should be well organized and all the assets should be in the right place. From my perspective, it is true to keep everything well ordered at home as well as in the office. This essay will explore valid reasons with appropriate examples in the ensuing paragraphs.
The primary reason is that person can get everything quickly. This is mainly because people may address items if they are placed in the right order. They do not have to pay attention to find out crucial things nearby their surroundings. For instance, many office workers and family members put all things in their designated place. Consequently, they do not require extra time to find those items whenever they want.
Furthermore, another significant reason is that an individual can create a better impression on others. This is due to the fact that people can get positive attention from others. For example, professional persons put every document and amenity in the proper manner. As a result, they could be able to leave a positive image of their organization in others' minds. Moreover, people can get certain kinds of promotions and positivity in their professional life by showing this type of etiquette.
In conclusion, although it is very tough to maintain all the things in a well-organized way, it provides certain kinds of benefits, like positivity, conveniency, and valuable impressions. Therefore, I believe that all the residents and professional workers need to keep all their valuables neat and clean; along with that, working people keep their working area more clear.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that homes and workplaces should be organised, and you give two relevant reasons—saving time when locating items and creating a positive impression. These address the question directly, and the examples about office workers and professional documents help illustrate your points. However, the support is general rather than specific, and the second reason is less fully explained: the link between tidiness, a positive image, and receiving promotions is asserted rather than demonstrated. The introduction also promises “valid reasons” without previewing them. To strengthen the response, explain how organisation produces each benefit and add a concrete example, such as how a labelled filing system helps a colleague find a document quickly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. The progression from practical convenience to professional impression is easy to follow, and signposting such as “The primary reason,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” makes the organisation visible. At times, however, cohesion feels mechanical because several sentences rely on formulaic links such as “This is mainly because,” “For instance,” and “As a result.” Some references are also unclear: “they” in “they do not have to pay attention” does not clearly identify who is being discussed, and “this type of etiquette” refers broadly to the preceding ideas. Use more precise references and connect examples directly to the claim they support.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “designated place,” “positive attention,” “proper manner,” and “professional life.” These choices show an attempt to express ideas beyond basic terms. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “clean and in good manners,” “assets” for ordinary household or office items, “conveniency,” and “working area more clear” do not express the intended meaning naturally. “Positivity” is also vague in this context. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than formal-sounding words that do not fit. For example, use “tidy and well organised,” “belongings,” “convenience,” and “keep the workspace clearer.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures such as “This is due to the fact that…” and a concessive clause in the conclusion. Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “the person can get everything quickly” needs an article or plural subject, while “they could be able to leave” combines two ways of expressing possibility. In “although it is very tough to maintain all the things,” the pronoun “it” has no clear grammatical subject. The final clause, “working people keep their working area more clear,” also shifts awkwardly from the preceding construction. Practise consistent subject–verb patterns and simplify sentences when a more complex structure becomes difficult to control.
