Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is often argued that people should keep their home and workplace clean and organized. I completely agree with this view because an orderly environment can reduce stress, save time and improve productivity.
One of the main benefits of keeping home and workplace clean is that it makes daily life more convenient and less stressful. When people put their belongings in proper places, they can find essential items without wasting extra time searching them. As result, they can complete their daily routine efficiently and enjoy peaceful environment. For example, people who keeps their keys, cloths and essential documents in their proper place can get ready for work quickly rather than becoming frustrated while searching for them.
Another advantage of keeping items properly can improve employees' performance. When documents, tools and other equipment are stored properly, employees can access them and concentrate more on their work. This is particularly important in healthcare system. When records or improperly stored equipment get misplaced it can cause delays or mistakes. For example, having everything organized healthcare staff can quickly get equipment or records which can help them to do their work more efficiently and save ample of time . Therefore, having clean and tidy workplace can benefit both worker and the people they serve.
In conclusion, it is beneficial to have organized workplace as it can improve work productivity. Having a clean home can reduce stress and provide more enjoyable environment and save time. Therefore I believe everyone should always keep their home and workplace clutter free and keep things in their correct place.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I completely agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address both home and workplace organisation, giving relevant reasons about reducing stress, saving time and improving productivity. The examples of finding keys and documents, and of healthcare staff locating equipment, help support your points. This fits a response that addresses the task and extends its ideas. To make the development more complete, explain the healthcare example’s consequences more precisely, and develop the home argument beyond the practical benefit of finding belongings. For instance, you could show how a tidy home affects relaxation or family routines. Some claims, such as “everyone should always” keep things organised, are broad; a brief qualification would make the reasoning more considered.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate benefits, and a conclusion restates your position. The progression from personal convenience to workplace performance is logical, and signposts such as “One of the main benefits,” “Another advantage,” and “In conclusion” make the organisation easy to follow. This is effective paragraphing and supports a clear line of argument. Some linking is slightly mechanical, however, and the healthcare example repeats the idea of accessing equipment and records without clearly separating the cause from the result. Use pronouns or concise references more carefully, and connect each example directly to the claim it supports. A wider range of transitions would also make the flow less formulaic.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “orderly environment,” “essential items,” “productivity,” “misplaced,” and “clutter free.” These choices communicate your ideas clearly, and you attempt some more specific language related to healthcare and workplace organisation. However, several word-choice and collocation problems limit precision: “ample of time” is not natural, “clean and organized” does not fully capture the task’s emphasis on keeping things in their correct place, and “cloths” appears where “clothes” is intended. Repetition of “clean,” “organized,” and “proper place” also narrows the range. Build more natural combinations and vary your wording—for example, “save considerable time,” “well-organised space,” or “store belongings appropriately.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “When people put their belongings…” and a relative clause in “people who keeps their keys…”. Most sentences remain understandable, and the errors do not prevent the reader from following your argument. Some grammatical inaccuracies persist, particularly with agreement, articles and sentence construction. For example, “people who keeps” should be “people who keep,” while “As result” needs an article, and “enjoy peaceful environment” also requires one. The sentence beginning “When records or improperly stored equipment get misplaced” is awkwardly constructed, and the following “having everything organized healthcare staff” needs clearer punctuation or a linking word. Review these patterns and proofread for articles and agreement.
