Student answer (Band 6.0)
A substantial amount of population believes that it is essential to keep everything perfectly in the right manner, either it is your house or the organization you works in. I admit that this the correct way of living as a clean space gives a feeling of peace and calmness rather than a messed up place.
A well organised room and office represents how well organised a person is. The way an individual lives and how he/ she manages things is very important for one's mental health. For instance, a furnished office desk with all the pens in the pen holder, the books alligned perfectly in order will attract the employee rather than an untidy desk with everything jumbled up.
Although it takes alot of time to clear the desk or to clean the room but when its done, it becomes eaiser to manage things. In addition to this, when both the places are well furnished, one can find whatever he or she wants in no or less time as the person will definately know where he/she has kept that specific thing.
A disorganised person will always be in a rush to find things as all of his belongings will be mixed up with each other, despite being on the similar desk as an organised individual.
I stand with this statement that it is significant to keep your accomadation and company clean as it saves plenty of time and is also very beneficial for one's peace of mind, body and soul.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you agree that homes and workplaces should be organised, and you give relevant reasons involving calmness, mental well-being and saving time. The desk example also helps illustrate how an orderly environment can make work more appealing. This addresses the question, but the reasons are not developed equally: the point about mental health is asserted rather than explained, and the final paragraph largely repeats your position instead of adding support. To strengthen the response, explain the effects in more detail—for example, how reduced time spent searching can improve productivity—and include a specific personal or observed example. The response already has a clear stance and relevant support; fuller development and a little more precision would make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: it introduces your opinion, develops benefits in separate paragraphs, and ends by restating your view. Ideas generally progress from the appearance of an organised space to its practical benefits. Linking phrases such as “For instance” and “In addition to this” help signal examples and added points. However, the progression becomes somewhat repetitive: the paragraph beginning “A disorganised person” repeats the time-saving point without extending it, and the conclusion repeats earlier claims. Some references, such as “both the places,” require the reader to infer that you mean home and workplace. Grouping the related benefits more tightly and using clearer references would make the cohesion more flexible and less repetitive.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “mental health,” “jumbled up,” “disorganised,” and “peace of mind,” so the meaning is generally understandable. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “significant” and “beneficial.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “a substantial amount of population,” “in the right manner,” and “well furnished” do not express your intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “alligned,” “eaiser,” “definately,” and “accomadation” are noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “a large proportion of people,” “in the right place,” and “well-organised,” and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including a concession beginning “Although it takes…” and a reason clause with “as the person will…”. Most ideas remain understandable, but errors in sentence structure, agreement and verb forms occur often enough to affect accuracy. For example, “either it is your house or the organization you works in” has an incorrect construction and subject–verb agreement; “I admit that this the correct way” is missing a verb; and “A well organised room and office represents” has a plural subject with a singular verb. There are also problems with articles and sentence punctuation. Practise checking each sentence for a complete verb, matching subjects and verbs, and consistent pronouns. More accurate complex sentences would improve control.
