Student answer (Band 6.0)
Cleaniness helps to keep a surrounding positive. It is often argued that everything must be kept organised at home and at a workplace. Besides this, it is an imperative to keep these places clean. I largely agree with this viewpoint, as hygiene keep diseases away from a person and arranging things help to save a time.
To begin with, hygiene helps to remain healthy. The health problems such as malaria and dust allergy would arsie, if the surrounding remains untidy. Clean environment uplifts the mood of a person. Apart from this, tidy environment at a workplace will put a good impression on a customer. For example, when people has kids at their home they must clean the floor with anti-bacterial solution or else their children might fell sick. This is because kids like to play on floor and even picks up a food item to eat fallen on a ground. Therefore, it is very crucial to keep home and a workplace tidy everyday.
Furthermore, arranging things always helps to save time. Labelling important files, maintaning office drawers with crucial items and removing unnecessary things from desk helps to find things quickly. In addition to this, chemicals used to clean home and items such as spray and acid must be kept at its correct place. This would save children from getting injries. For instance, an organised individual who is working on a important project will complete it before deadline faster than who is disorganized. Thus, arranging stuff at its proper place would help a person to increase his productivity.
To conclude, in my opinion i believe that people will focus more than before, if they keep their area clean and organized. This will provide them with inner satisfaction and makes the surrounding look appealing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you largely agree because cleanliness supports health and organisation saves time. Both reasons are relevant and are developed with examples, including cleaning floors where children play and keeping office files and drawers organised. The conclusion also returns to your view and adds the idea of improved focus and a more appealing environment. This addresses the task and provides a sustained argument. To strengthen the response further, develop the link between some claims and the main question more precisely: for example, the point about a tidy workplace impressing customers is mentioned but not explained, and the project-deadline example makes a broad comparison without showing how organisation leads to faster completion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. The progression from health and workplace impressions to time-saving and productivity is easy to follow. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude” help signal this structure, and examples generally appear alongside the points they support. However, some connections feel mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “This” and “Therefore,” and the second body paragraph moves from office organisation to household chemicals without a smooth transition. Improve cohesion by making references more specific and showing how each example develops the paragraph’s central idea. The conclusion also introduces focus and satisfaction rather abruptly rather than synthesising the two main reasons.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “hygiene,” “anti-bacterial solution,” “crucial,” “productivity,” and “disorganized,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. There are also attempts to use more specific language, such as “Labelling important files” and “removing unnecessary things from desk.” However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “Cleaniness,” “arsie,” “maintaning,” and “injries” are misspelled, while “save a time” and “a good impression on a customer” are awkward collocations. Some wording is also repetitive, especially “things,” “tidy,” and “clean.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common word partnerships, and choose more precise alternatives where the same general terms recur.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if the surrounding remains untidy” and a reason clause beginning “This is because.” These attempts help express cause and effect, but errors occur across agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction. For example, “hygiene keep diseases away” needs subject–verb agreement, and “when people has kids” has an incorrect verb form. In “an organised individual … will complete it … faster than who is disorganized,” the comparison is grammatically incomplete. There are also punctuation and capitalisation slips, such as the missing space after “ground.” and the lowercase “i” in the conclusion. Practise checking each sentence’s subject and verb, articles, and complete comparison structures.
