Student answer (Band 6.0)
According to some people; to keep your home and office or place of your work to be most clean, tidy and in order is must and very important to which I absoluetely agree 100%. To be organised, clean and up to date is necessary for both work-life balance and give sense of peace to some people rather than other.
First of all; a clean space totally uplifts the mood; imagine waking up in morning with clean house, kitchen or all done work beforehand; it gives sense of relaxation and also time and energy to put the other required things like going for run, finishing grocery, going to workshop, etc. Whilst, if one wakes to unfinished dishes, unwashed laundry at house; or unorganized spreadhseets, unnamed accounts all from a day before and hence all the energy is sulked up in doing the existing chores leaving one angry and frustrated.
Additionally it also shows responsible in nature and positive attitude if one has been doing their part of work efficientely in oraganized manner. People who prepare things ahead of time; like organized closet so to not waste time in looking for clother to get ready and managing to put keys in place to not waste time looking for them and clean shoe or shoerack to not rush in last minute spill ups because of lack of time in getting ready at first place.Subsequently, organized in files, folder and order of work to get job done in time is easier to get things done correctly rather than turning up everything last minute with no room to check if there is error can cause chaos in sensitive informations.
In conclusion, for sack of sanity and leaving room for time to make corrections it is advisable to have it neat and in order.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the opening: you “absolutely agree” that keeping home and work organised is important, and you maintain this view through the conclusion. You address both settings and give relevant reasons, including how a tidy home can save time and reduce frustration, and how organised work files can help prevent errors. The examples of preparing clothes and keeping keys in place make the argument concrete. This meets the task well, with ideas extended and supported. To strengthen the response further, develop the broader claims more precisely: for example, explain how organisation improves work-life balance, which is mentioned but not fully explored, and avoid presenting benefits as universal without qualification.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall shape: an introduction states your opinion, two body paragraphs give reasons and examples, and a conclusion restates your recommendation. The progression from the effect of a tidy home to the benefits of organisation at work is logical. Linking expressions such as “First of all,” “Additionally,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader, though the repeated additive transitions make the connections somewhat mechanical. Some sentences contain several examples and ideas at once, particularly the long sentence beginning “People who prepare things ahead of time,” so the main point becomes harder to follow. Use clearer sentence boundaries and group related examples more deliberately. More precise referencing between ideas would also make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “work-life balance,” “unfinished dishes,” “unwashed laundry,” “organised closet,” and “sensitive information.” These choices help convey practical examples, and there is some attempt to use less common language. However, noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision: “absoluetely,” “spreadhseets,” “efficientely,” and “sulked up” are examples. Phrases such as “shows responsible in nature” and “last minute spill ups” are also unnatural, making parts of the argument less clear. Build a reliable range of common collocations for describing organisation and its effects, and check spelling and word forms carefully. This would make your meaning easier to understand without changing the ideas.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a contrast between waking to a tidy home and facing unfinished chores. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors can make the reader work to understand the relationships between ideas. For example, “is must and very important to which I absolutely agree” has an incomplete grammatical construction, while “it also shows responsible in nature” lacks a clear grammatical form. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “a clean space totally uplifts the mood; imagine waking up in morning.” Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then connect them with subordinate clauses. Careful proofreading for punctuation and complete sentence structure will improve control.
