Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that homes and workplaces should be kept tidy, and you give relevant reasons, including health, saving time, creating a good impression, and supporting employees’ work. The restaurant example and your visit to an organised office help connect the ideas to real situations. However, some points are asserted rather than explained—for instance, the link between a clean environment and increased company income needs a clearer explanation or evidence. The final point about teaching children organisation is relevant but receives little development. The response also falls short of the required 250 words, so there is limited space to extend these ideas. Develop each reason with a specific explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a recognisable overall order: it introduces your view, discusses home and workplace benefits, gives an office example, and ends with children learning to organise. This gives the reader a basic sense of progression. However, paragraphing is limited, and several ideas are crowded together, particularly in the sentence about restaurants, hygiene, taste, and other offices. Linking is often repetitive or unclear: “Always” and “Not only” do not clearly show how the points relate, while “Constantly organised things” begins a conclusion without a clear connection to the previous example. Use separate paragraphs for distinct reasons, and connect each point with precise transitions such as “In addition” or “For example.” Clearer referencing would also help readers follow who “their” refers to in the final sentence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “organised,” “reputation,” “environment,” “diseases,” and “thinking skills.” The examples also show attempts to use more specific language, such as “food courts” and “company income.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or combinations are unnatural, which makes parts of the response difficult to interpret. For example, “time save for finding things” and “good hard work” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “hygine” is also misspelled. Repeated use of “tidy,” “clean,” and “helps” reduces variety. Build a small set of accurate collocations for cleanliness, productivity, and organisation, and check spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You communicate your main opinion using mostly simple sentence patterns, and there are attempts to connect ideas, as in “If employes are in fresh mind and clean environment automatically gives good hard work.” However, sentence structures are often incomplete or joined without clear grammatical links. For example, “it assist us keep healthy protect from diseases” needs clearer verb patterns, and “Restaurants food courts should be keep clean” has an incorrect passive construction. There are also errors in subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals, and punctuation, such as “it helps” after plural “things” and the missing spaces after commas. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and articles. Vary sentence forms only after the basic structures are accurate.
