Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You give a clear general opinion that both the home and workplace should be kept tidy, and you offer relevant reasons: home is where your family eats and rests, while an organised office can support better work. However, the response addresses the task only minimally because these points are stated briefly rather than explained or supported with developed examples. The workplace benefit, for instance, is mentioned as producing “good result” and helping people work faster, but the link between tidiness and these outcomes is not explained. The response is also substantially below the required 250 words, which limits how fully you can develop your position. Expand each reason with explanation and a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “In the second hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several sentences are fragments or loosely connected, such as “Because we do more than all in home.” The conclusion repeats the main point without drawing the reasons together. Some linking expressions are also inaccurate or awkward, which makes the organisation feel mechanical. To improve, build each paragraph around one clear reason, connect explanation and example with accurate transitions, and use pronouns or repeated key terms clearly so the relationships between ideas are easy to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “clean,” “tidy,” “arranged,” and “distractions,” so the general meaning is usually understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the message difficult to interpret. For example, “home and homework” appears to be an unintended choice, while “professional live” and “procure good result” do not express your intended meaning naturally. There are also spelling errors such as “were” for “where” and “snd” for “and.” Aim to learn common topic phrases as complete units, such as “maintain an organised workspace” and “improve concentration,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt a few different sentence forms, including a relative clause in “the place where my family live” and a reason introduced by “Because.” However, the range remains very limited, and frequent errors in sentence construction and agreement sometimes obscure meaning. For example, “Home and workplace are the place where we live must” has an unclear structure, while “both your home and your office are the place” has a plural subject with a singular noun. “It contributed to joyful” also has an unclear subject and verb form. Punctuation and capitalisation need attention too, including the space before the full stop in “tidy .” Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled clauses using “because,” “which,” and “so.”
