Student answer (Band 6.0)
Basic skills are essential for everyone, whether they are related to home or the workplace. Similarly, some people think that Organizational skills assist people not only to work on time and wisely but also to make things easily accessible, which seems professional and tidy. I agree with this thought, as it has various benefits, which will be articulated in the upcoming paragraphs with reasons.
The prominent reason why people need to be tidy with everything is the personality of a person, which shows how people deal with daily work. To explain it, Most people are recognized as lazy people because they do not work on time and take more time than others who put things in the right place. The best example of this is professional people who keep their things wisely, which help them find things easily in future. Therefore, people ought to be organized in every way.
According to my perception, If people keep the workplace free of useless things will not distract from their daily tasks and can achieve them easily and in less time. To illustrate it, A survey found that 75% fail to achieve their tasks because they were playing more with things arranged on the work table. Last but not least, Tidiness and organized things keep people's minds relaxed and fresh, which improves mental health and increases the quality of work.
To conclude, although organizing things in both places is not an easy task, I concur with this thought as it is beneficial for everyone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I agree with this thought”) and remains consistent in the conclusion. You give relevant reasons: organisation can make items easier to find, reduce distraction, and support a calmer mind and better work. These points address the question, but they are not all developed equally. The discussion of personality and people being “lazy” is broad and does not clearly explain why tidiness itself demonstrates character. The survey statistic is presented without context or a specific source, so it offers limited support. To strengthen the response, explain each benefit through a concrete example and make the link between keeping spaces organised and the outcome more precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally progress from personal qualities to workplace benefits. Linking expressions such as “To explain it,” “To illustrate it” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the relationship between ideas is not always clear. For example, the claim that people are recognised as lazy because they do not put things away needs a clearer explanation. The sentence beginning “If people keep the workplace…” also lacks a clear subject for “will not distract.” Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each example directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of vocabulary related to the topic, including “organisational skills,” “accessible,” “distract,” “mental health” and “quality of work.” These choices make the main ideas understandable, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, several word choices and collocations are unnatural or imprecise, such as “work on time and wisely,” “keep their things wisely,” and “playing more with things arranged on the work table.” “The personality of a person” is also vague in this context. Aim for natural combinations such as “work efficiently,” “store items in designated places,” and “be distracted by clutter.” More precise vocabulary would make your reasoning clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “whether,” “because” and “which,” and most of the argument remains understandable. Some grammatical errors, however, affect clarity and control. In “If people keep the workplace free of useless things will not distract,” the conditional clause needs a main-clause subject, for example, “they will not be distracted.” There are also agreement and verb-form problems in “which help them find things” and “75% fail … because they were playing,” where the references and tense are unclear. Capitalisation after commas is inconsistent, as in “To explain it, Most people.” Check sentence boundaries, subject–verb agreement and punctuation when editing.
