Student answer (Band 6.5)

In contemporary society, individuals are busy with their daily life routines. Some people think that it is essential to manage the workplace and home by organising things appropriately. I beleive that this development has postive impact on both peronal and professional lives of the people because it saves their precious time and make all tasks easier and convenient.

Indeed, one primary justification of this perspective is that good organisation helps to save a large amount of time. To elaborate, in the modern era, individuals are busy with their schedule and do not have enough time to find necessay things everyday on time. Therefore, it is significant to keep their valuable items on accurate place which is beneficial for them. Furthermore, tidy and clean environment can support the humans to keep their mind relax and calm. In other words, many times, the persons are unable to access any particular thing which is important and need on a specific time, it may increase the frustration level that also effects on their mental health.

Moreover, another persuasive argument in the favor of this stance is that this phenomenon can be helpful at a workplace. To clarify, in a major company, managers notice all activities of their employees including how they can manage their dominant files and keep them on right place. They consider these all skills as part of job responsibility. For instance, a recent survey conducted by 'The Hindustan Times of India' revealed that 65% of large organisations have evaluated the review of workers by noticing their management and organisational skills to keep crucial files which play a vital role in the growth of firm.

In conclusion, I recapitulate my conviction of this idea is that the living place and workplace should be tidy for saving time and create easy and comfortable atmosphere. It can also encourage people to enhance their skills such as organisational and personality development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

Your position is clear from the introduction: you believe keeping homes and workplaces organised saves time and makes tasks easier. You address both settings and support your view with relevant reasons, including reduced frustration at home and the handling of files at work. The workplace survey provides a specific example, while the conclusion returns to your main argument. This meets the task well, although some support is more fully developed than other parts. For example, the point about a calm environment and mental health is asserted rather than explained with a concrete situation, and the survey is not linked in detail to how organisation improves workplace outcomes. Develop these connections further and avoid broad claims such as “all tasks” becoming easier.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. The progression from saving time at home to organisation at work is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. Some linking is a little formulaic, particularly the repeated explanatory openings “To elaborate” and “To clarify.” There are also places where the relationship between ideas could be made more precise; for instance, the sentence about frustration and mental health would benefit from a clearer link to the preceding point about locating items. Use a wider variety of transitions and make references between sentences explicit to strengthen the flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “organisational skills,” “crucial files,” “frustration level,” and “professional lives.” These choices help communicate your ideas, and you attempt some more formal expressions such as “primary justification” and “persuasive argument.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “accurate place,” “keep their mind relax,” and “evaluated the review of workers.” Spelling errors such as “beleive,” “postive,” and “necessay” also reduce precision. Aim for natural combinations of words and check spelling carefully; more accurate phrasing will make your argument sound clearer and more fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which,” and “that,” and most of your meaning remains clear. Some grammatical errors occur, however. In the opening, “it saves their precious time and make all tasks” has a subject–verb agreement problem; later, “keep their mind relax” needs a different grammatical construction. The sentence beginning “many times, the persons are unable to access” also becomes difficult to control, with unclear clause structure and agreement in “important and need.” Review agreement, verb patterns, and sentence boundaries, especially in longer sentences. Breaking complex ideas into two well-formed sentences would improve accuracy while preserving variety.
