Student answer (Band 5.5)

Organising things is one of the important part of a person's healthy lifestyle. Nowadays, a fair amount of people say about the importance of keeping their home and workplace clean and tidy and placing everthing in an ordered manner. According to the taste of people making everything in an arranged way represents a peaceful life. In my opinion, it's difficult for a person to lead a life of tidy, however, being organised help a person to be organised in their life.

The first and foremost fact is that, some people likes to lead a life of organised. It's because they are meticulous in both their work place and home as well. Likewise, everytime these people need clean and tidy area.As a result, they can easily find anything in their place. For example,my uncle, Hari is a business man and he keeps his own room in an organised way to find his office documents in an easy way. Secondly, neatness is considered as the first place of hygiene. Therefore, it helps a person to get rid from breathing difficulties such as asthma.

However, due to hectic life people don't have a chance to keep their home and workplace in a clean and tidy way. This is not considered as their fault, beacause of the workpressure, job duties and problems in their lifestyle. As a result, they forget to make everything ordered.

In conclusion, some people lkeep their both home and workplace in an organised way. It's because of their habit on that particular thing. In my opinion, I can state that every human need to be organised in their life because it helps them make their life into an organised way. it helps them to avoid problems and became hygiene.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a relevant opinion that people should be organised, and you include reasons and a personal example: your uncle keeps his room orderly so he can find business documents. The discussion also recognises that busy schedules can make tidiness difficult. However, your position is not fully clear at the start: saying it is “difficult for a person to lead a life of tidy” seems to conflict with your later view that everyone needs to be organised. The hygiene and asthma point is introduced but not explained, and the paragraph about people who are too busy mainly describes the problem rather than showing how it affects your opinion. State your position consistently and develop each reason with a clearer explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “However” help identify the main points. The uncle example also gives one idea a clear illustration. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the claim that neatness is “the first place of hygiene” moves quickly to asthma without explaining the connection. Some linking is mechanical, and several sentences run together without adequate spacing or punctuation, making relationships between ideas less clear. The conclusion repeats the general claim rather than drawing together the reasons. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain the link between supporting sentences, and use transitions only where they clarify the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “meticulous,” “neatness,” “hectic life” and “workplace.” However, the range is limited by repeated use of “organised,” “clean” and “tidy,” and several word combinations are unnatural or imprecise, such as “lead a life of tidy,” “get rid from breathing difficulties” and “make their life into an organised way.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Spelling errors such as “everthing,” “beacause” and “workpressure” also affect accuracy. Build a wider set of natural phrases for describing order and its benefits, and check spelling and collocations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including explanations with “because” and a contrast introduced by “However.” Nevertheless, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence structure, agreement, articles and punctuation. For example, “some people likes” should use a plural verb, while “being organised help” needs a singular verb. The opening phrase “one of the important part” also has an incorrect plural pattern. Commas and spaces are often missing, as in “tidy, however,” and “area. As a result,” which makes the text harder to read. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add complex clauses and proofread for subject–verb agreement, articles and sentence boundaries.
