Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you agree that keeping homes and workplaces tidy is important, and you give relevant reasons, including health, reduced stress, saving time, and teaching children good habits. However, the response addresses the task only partially because several points are asserted rather than explained or supported. For example, the survey claim that 95% of people keep their houses clean is not clearly connected to why tidiness matters, and the workplace is mentioned much less than the home. The conclusion summarises your view, but the body needs fuller examples and explanation. The response is also 18 words below the required minimum, so it needs further development as well as additional length.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “The first and foremost reason,” “Moreover,” and “Furthermore” help signal the order of points, and the final sentence brings the main view together. However, progression is sometimes mechanical, and the relationship between ideas is not always clear. The survey sentence, for instance, gives a statistic without explaining how it supports the argument. Some sentences also move abruptly from tidiness to children’s learning and then to health. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to its main point; also check references such as “their family members,” whose referent is unclear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “organised,” “tidy,” “reduce the stress,” “productivity,” and “peace of mind.” These choices communicate your main ideas, but the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “net” for “neat,” “beauitful,” “peacful,” and “the important of the everything.” Phrases such as “organising our house correctly” and “take in our correctly” are also unnatural or unclear. Aim to learn common word partnerships for this topic and proofread spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the benefits without repeating “home,” “clean,” and “tidy.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including the contrast structure “not only … but also” and the reason clause beginning “because.” This shows an effort to vary sentence forms. However, many sentences contain errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, or sentence construction, and these sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “I am totaly agree” needs a different verb pattern, while “95% people keep house” is missing grammatical elements. In “the most relevant examples is,” the subject and verb do not agree. The sentence about teaching children is also difficult to parse. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences, checking agreement and articles carefully.
