Student answer (Band 6.0)
i would say cleaniness is the key of peace. everyone loves tidy places. it does not matter either it is your workplace or your home. it should be clean and very well organised. it is very easy to find anything you need in your job if everything would be on their respective places. you will always love to work in a place which is neat and clean because it brings positive enegy to the place.
gradually, i would say you will definietly meet good people at your work if they are keeping the space clean and tidy. if you keep your home clean, your family and friends will not hesitate to come to your place. it makes their stay more comfortable and they will praise you and your home in public or in their private circle. clean home and workplace always keep your mind fresh and your thoughts will never distract.
Eventually, i would share a incident of my previous workplace. the office was not very tidy and oragnised. Nothing was stored on their respective places. in this clutter, i lost very important file of my client. i tried to find a lot but i could not get it. because the files were everywhere, on the table, on the shelves in the storage racks. then my boss called me in his office and fired me for not organising things properly. that day i learned a lesson that i need to keep my office clean and tidy. the same rule implented on my house. that why i always keep my home and office clean and organised at all times.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear throughout: you support keeping both homes and workplaces tidy, and you give relevant reasons, including easier access to items, a more pleasant environment, and the effect on visitors. The account of losing a client file is a useful, specific example that shows a practical consequence of disorganisation and supports your opinion. This addresses the task well. Some supporting claims, however, are broad rather than fully explained—for example, that tidy workplaces help you “meet good people” and that a clean home keeps thoughts from being distracted. Explain the link between these claims and tidiness, or develop fewer points in greater depth, to make the support more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: it states your view, gives reasons about work and home, and then develops a workplace example. The final lesson also connects the example back to your opinion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with repeated openings such as “i would say” and “if you keep,” and transitions such as “gradually” and “Eventually” do not always express the relationship between ideas accurately. Some references are unclear, including “they” in “if they are keeping the space clean,” where the reader must infer who is meant. Use clearer topic sentences, vary linking methods, and make pronoun references explicit to improve the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including relevant terms such as “organised,” “clutter,” “storage racks,” and “client.” The workplace incident also gives you a chance to use specific language rather than relying only on general statements. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “cleaniness,” “enery,” “definietly,” and “oragnised.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “the key of peace,” “find anything you need in your job,” and “praise you and your home in public.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall message, but they limit precision. Check spelling carefully and practise natural collocations for describing order and its benefits.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate your main meaning, and there are attempts to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example, “because it brings positive energy to the place.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors recur in basic patterns. Examples include “it does not matter either it is” (use “whether it is”), “if everything would be” (use “if everything were/is”), and “a incident” (use “an incident”). In the example, “i tried to find a lot but i could not get it” has an unclear grammatical construction, while “that why” needs a verb (“that is why”). Sentence boundaries and capitalisation also need attention. Practise accurate conditional forms, articles, and complete sentence structures before adding more complex clauses.
