Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is commonly argued that the tidiness and the proper organization of working and resting places is particularly essential. Although I think that organization is subjective, I am convinced that tidiness is crucial for a better wellbeing, efficient time management and productivity.
On the one hand, People's attitude are varied related to this issue; some people feel comfortable staying in a place that appears messy for other, however, for him everything is in its right place. For instance, many people forget where they have arranged some papers, thus, it is more convinient and efficient for them to put all the needed paper in front of them resulting in a workplace that looks messy for others but not for him.
On the other hand, having a tidy home is particularly relaxing For example coming to a well organized house after a long day at work gives a sense of comfort and relief. Moreover, starting your day with small tasks such as tidying the bed or getting out the trash give the person a sense of achievement that boosts his self confidence and his willingless to achieve more and to be productive throughout the day. Similarly, maintaining a clean and organized workplace has a particularly beneficial impact on the working environment. To illustrate this, recieving a client, a co-worker or a manager in your well organized office gives a positive impression and emit good feelings of comfort and relaxation.
To conclude,For some people, mess is a sort of an efficient environment, however, I think that tidiness has several beneficial outcoumes on the person's wellbeing and productivity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you acknowledge that people may prefer different levels of order, but argue that tidiness benefits wellbeing and productivity. You address both home and workplace settings, and the examples about returning to a comfortable house and receiving a client are relevant. This meets the task well, though the two sides are not developed equally: the point about a seemingly messy workspace being functional is explained, but its connection to your overall view could be clearer. The benefits of tidiness are also asserted more than explored. To strengthen the response, explain how organisation specifically improves efficiency or wellbeing, and develop each example with a little more detail while maintaining your clear position throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, moving from an introduction to contrasting viewpoints, then to supporting reasons and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help readers follow this progression. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the first body paragraph’s example about papers is not fully tied back to the distinction between personal preference and the value of tidiness. A few transitions also run into the following sentence, as in “To illustrate this, recieving…,” which interrupts the flow. For a stronger progression, make the relationship between each example and the paragraph’s main point explicit, and use referencing and transitions more naturally rather than relying mainly on set phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “efficient time management,” “sense of comfort and relief,” “self confidence,” and “positive impression.” These choices communicate your ideas, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “better wellbeing,” “People's attitude are varied related to this issue,” and “emit good feelings.” There are also spelling errors, including “convinient,” “willingless,” “recieving,” and “outcoumes,” which reduce precision. Aim to use more natural combinations and check spelling carefully. For example, “contribute to wellbeing” and “create a sense of comfort” would express your meaning more idiomatically.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including a concession in the introduction and longer sentences with “although,” “thus,” and “that.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “People's attitude are varied” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “starting your day … give the person” also needs agreement. Pronoun reference is inconsistent in “for other … for him,” and the sentence beginning “For example coming…” needs clearer punctuation and structure. Capitalisation and spacing after punctuation are also inconsistent. To improve, check agreement and pronoun consistency, and divide longer sentences where needed; this will help you retain variety while making the grammar more controlled.
