Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's world, some people believe it is important to keep their homes and workplaces tidy, with everything organised and in the correct place. I totally agree with the given statement. A clean and systematic home and workspace make a person feel fresh and stress-free.
To begin with, people who keep their house clean are more punctual than those who keep it untidy. Moreover, an Organized space, such as keeping everything in its place makes it easier to find it on time and saves time. For example, putting clothes in almirah, putting the key in its spot, organising the books and important documents on the bookshelf makes it comfortable for individuals to find them if one is in a rush.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
Your position is clear: “I totally agree,” and you give relevant reasons, including reduced stress and being able to find belongings quickly. The example of placing keys, clothes, books and documents in set locations helps illustrate the practical benefit. However, the response addresses the task only minimally: it contains 111 words, so it is 139 words below the required minimum, and the discussion ends before the reasons are properly explained. The claim that tidy people are “more punctual” is not supported with an explanation or example, and there is no developed discussion of keeping a workplace organised. To strengthen the response, explain each reason, add a specific example, and develop your opinion across a complete essay.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic, understandable structure: an introduction states your opinion, followed by a paragraph beginning “To begin with” that gives supporting points. “Moreover” and “For example” help signal the relationship between ideas, so the reader can follow the main line of thought. However, the response is too brief to show clear progression across a full essay, and the second paragraph moves quickly from punctuality to finding objects without explaining the connection. The example is also presented as a long list rather than being organised into a developed point. Use separate body paragraphs for distinct reasons, and connect each claim to its explanation and example. A concluding paragraph would also give the response a more complete overall shape.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “organised,” “stress-free,” “systematic,” “punctual” and “important documents.” These choices make your main ideas clear, and “stress-free” conveys a benefit concisely. Some expressions are less natural or precise: “a person feel fresh” would be more idiomatic as “a person feel refreshed,” while “find it on time” does not clearly express finding something quickly. “Putting clothes in almirah” may also be unclear to readers unfamiliar with that term; “wardrobe” is more widely understood in this context. Aim for accurate collocations and consistent spelling conventions, and use a little more topic-specific vocabulary to explain how organisation helps at home and at work.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and a more extended sentence, such as “For example, putting clothes in almirah … makes it comfortable for individuals to find them if one is in a rush.” The main meaning is generally understandable, and the opening sentences are controlled. There are some grammatical errors in the longer constructions. In “A clean and systematic home and workspace make a person feel,” the singular subject calls for “makes”; “putting clothes in almirah” needs an article or determiner; and “makes it comfortable for individuals to find them” has an unclear pronoun reference and awkward structure. The sentence beginning “Moreover” also needs clearer construction. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence patterns that keep the subject and pronouns clear.
