Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you support keeping both home and workplace organised, and you give relevant reasons about saving time, feeling positive, and working more effectively. The examples involving keys and a wallet, and finding a file or pen drive at work, help connect your ideas to everyday situations. This addresses the main parts of the question. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the link between tidiness and “positive energy” could be developed with a clearer explanation, and the point about gaining appreciation from colleagues needs more support. To strengthen the response, explain the effects of organisation in greater depth and make each example directly demonstrate the reason it supports.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding opinion. “Firstly” and “secondly” signal the two main reasons, while examples generally follow the points they illustrate. However, progression is sometimes mechanical, and the opening sentence of the first body paragraph, “fristly, i will discuss my opinions in upcoming paragraphs,” announces the structure instead of developing the argument. Several ideas are crowded together, and transitions such as “in addition” are repeated without always clarifying how the next point relates. Paragraphing is broadly appropriate, but clearer topic sentences and more deliberate links between claims and examples would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “belongings,” “co-workers,” “important file,” and “working environment,” and the examples show an attempt to describe practical situations. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less clear. For instance, “furnish the room and office well managed” does not express the intended idea naturally, and “a pan drive draw” appears to mean a drawer for pen drives. Spelling errors such as “enviornment,” “importnat,” and “wroking” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of phrases for organisation and productivity, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, such as the sentence beginning “if we keep our belongings at same place.” This shows an effort to connect ideas rather than relying only on short sentences. However, control is inconsistent: sentence boundaries and punctuation are often missing, and some clauses are incomplete or awkwardly formed. For example, “place the things at office at same location could helpful” lacks a clear subject and a correctly formed verb phrase, while “it save your time” has a subject–verb agreement error. Articles and prepositions are also often omitted, as in “at home” and “at same place.” Practise accurate sentence patterns and proofread for articles, agreement, and punctuation.
