IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear sir,

I hope your are doing well. I am writing to express my interest in your recent job posting on Australian magazine. I read that you are looking for tenant to stays with your and also helps in taking care of your child.

I am interested in this role, because I am very good with children. In India, I used to work as Primary School teacher where I was taking care of children. Also my brother has 2 years old baby and I used to help my sister-in-law to take care of him. Every-time when my brother and sister-in-law needs a small break, they leaves the baby with me.

Moreover, I recently moved to Australia few days back and I really do not have much to do. My daily schedule only includes my classes. Other than that, I really do not have much to do. So this will be a great opportunity for me to utilise my time.
