Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to address all parts of the task. While you mention why you want the job and your suitability, you completely omit the requirement to explain how you would spend your free time in Australia. Furthermore, the response is significantly under the 150-word minimum, which severely limits your ability to develop your ideas. To improve, you must ensure every bullet point in the prompt is covered with sufficient detail and expand your writing to meet the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter is very brief, making it difficult to establish a clear logical progression. While there is a basic attempt at paragraphing, the ideas are presented in a fragmented manner. Cohesive devices are almost entirely absent, and the transition between the introduction and the body is abrupt. To achieve a higher score, you should use linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition') to connect your sentences and ensure your ideas flow logically from one point to the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'look after your baby' and 'do this job' are used multiple times, which limits the range of your expression. There is little evidence of less common or more precise vocabulary. To improve, try to use more descriptive language related to childcare and professional experience, and avoid repeating the same simple verbs throughout the letter.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are several grammatical errors that affect the clarity of the writing. For example, 'I hope your doing great' should be 'you're', and 'you are look for' should be 'looking for'. The sentence structures are mostly simple, with very few attempts at complex sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent. You need to focus on basic subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency to improve your accuracy, while also practicing the use of complex sentence structures.
