Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The letter addresses all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly explain your motivation for the job, detail your suitability through your studies and experience, and describe how you would spend your free time. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter of application. However, the development of ideas is somewhat basic. For instance, while you mention your experience in childcare, providing a specific example of a past responsibility would have strengthened your candidacy. The response is well-focused on the task requirements, ensuring the reader understands your purpose and qualifications immediately.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each serving a distinct purpose. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'In free time' and 'I am writing this letter to' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes a bit mechanical, and the use of linking words could be more varied to improve the overall progression. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the introduction, body, and conclusion. While the structure is clear, more sophisticated transitions would elevate the coherence to a higher band.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'inquire', 'opportunity', and 'qualification'. However, there are several spelling errors, such as 'accomodating', 'persuing', 'earychildhood', 'collage', 'chid', 'debelipment', and 'considete'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable, though they do not impede the overall meaning of your message. To reach a higher band, you should focus on accuracy in spelling and attempt to use more precise collocations, such as 'pursuing a course' rather than 'persuing course'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as 'I am writing this letter to inquire...' and 'I am quite confident that all my skills... would make me...'. There are several grammatical slips, including 'I am quite have great experience' (should be 'I have great experience') and 'It would be great opportunity' (missing article 'a'). Additionally, there are punctuation errors, such as the incorrect use of a colon after 'Your's faithfully'. While these errors are present, they do not prevent the reader from understanding your message.
