You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

Dear Sir,

Hope you are well. Recently, I saw your advertisement about offering a job of child care worker in one of Australia's top brochure. Actually, I am writing this letter to express my interest in the job you offered through the magazine.

The reason I want to apply for this job is due to my availability of six months during my summer break from school. Actually, currently, I am in the third semester of high school diploma. Therefore, I want to utilise this time to save money for my upcoming tuition payment.

And to do this job, I believe, I am equipped with all necessary skills such taking care of infant regarding his/her feeding requirements, exercising needs, hygiene needs. I have two nieces, both of them are 3 years old and I usually spend my lot of time with them in taking care of them. So I think I have the required experience for this job.

For my summer break, I also made some plans to go to some other areas of the country for the requirements of my upcoming project in forth semester such as Sydney and Brisbane provinces because of their historical and cultural value to the country. I hope you will consider my skills and experience for this role and decide to recruit for this position.
