You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

I am writing this letter to express my enthusiastic interest in the liv-in childcare position that you advertised in an Australian magazine. The opportunity to take care of six-year-old while spending time in family dynamics greatly appeals to me.

I would love this job because it combines my passion of taking care of children with my long standing goal of becoming nanny. Moreover, it is my dream to spend time with local family, so I can learn more about their culture.

I would be suitable person for this role because of my previous job experience in the same field. In addition, I have completed early childhood course which helps me to understand more about children.

Apart from that I am an avid hiker and enthusiastic photographer. I would visit some cultural parks and other historical places.
