You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter regarding an advertisement you posted in an Australian magazine that you are looking for a care-taker for your six-year old child.

I would like to do this job because I think I have a good bonding with kids who are under aged. I love to play with children as they never are very vulnerable and always want only love from their near and dear ones.

Because, I graduated in Early age child care course last year, I believe that this job is best suited for me. We are a family of five with three siblings and I am the eldest one. I used to take care of my younger sister and brother in their early life.

As Australia is a beautiful country, and I am a nature lover, I would like to spend my leisure time in parks, trails, and other natural places in Australia and I can take your child with me to show him or her the beauty of nature.
