IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Madam,

I am writing this letter in- regards to the advertisement I have seen in the Australian magazine for taking care of your 6 years old child.

I am visiting my sister in Australia next week and I am actively looking for some part-time during my stay in there.

This job will aid me in covering the cost during my stay and also it will help me keep busy and at the same time gain some experience.

I have a certificate in early childhood education and have experience of over 5 years in Canada in Fraser valley day care, hence I believe , I will be the best person for this job.

Further ,during my stay in Australia I intent to engage in wedding preparation for my cousin wedding which is in 2 moths.

Hope you will consider my application and reply me with positive response.
