You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear sir/madam,

i saw your advertisement that you are looking for someone who can take care of your six year old child at your home and live there for six months. I am interested to apply for this job because i have relevant experience as well as education that relates to this job.

I enjoy spending time with children. i am a patient and responsible to keep your child safe and happy. i am comfortable living with a family and respecting other people's routine and privacy.

I would spend my leisure time with your child to teach him/her some simple skills that are important for childeren's congnitive mind. i am also happy to perform some light housekeeping duties related to child.

Could you please provide me with more information about your child's daily routine, working hours and salary? I would be available for an interview at your convenience.
