Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt: explaining the motivation, detailing suitability, and describing free-time activities. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention being an Early Childhood Educator, you could have provided more specific examples of your experience with six-year-olds to make your application more persuasive. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, though it lacks some of the conventional professional polish expected in a job application. To improve, ensure that each point is expanded with more detail to demonstrate your suitability more effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is logically organized, with each paragraph addressing a specific requirement of the task. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited and sometimes mechanical. For instance, the transition between sentences is often abrupt, and there is a lack of varied linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition'). The paragraphing is also underdeveloped; the entire body of the letter is essentially one block of text. Using clear paragraph breaks for each distinct point would significantly improve the flow and readability of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it is somewhat repetitive and basic. You rely on simple phrasing, such as 'this job help me' and 'I mostly try to spend time'. There are also some spelling errors ('collage' instead of 'college', 'comfirtable', 'benificial', 'usefull') and minor collocation issues, such as 'previous history in same filed'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary related to childcare and professional experience, and pay closer attention to spelling accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally hinder the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('This job help me'), missing articles ('in park or garden'), and awkward phrasing ('I am a student doing study in EBA collage'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and the use of commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors suggests a need for more careful proofreading and a focus on mastering basic sentence construction and verb tenses.
