You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

I am writing about an advertisement you recently posted as I am interested to take care of your 6 years old child for the period of 6 months.

I worked as a childcare assistant in Brisbane and I have more than 4 years of experience in this field. This is a good opportunity for me to work and live with your family because I moved to Perth Last week. It would allow me to get know about the area and would also help me to utilise my time

until, I start a permanent job.

Apart from having childcare experience, I am extremely passionate to work with children and teach them new skills everyday. Moreover, I would help you with other household works such as cooking and cleaning in my spare time. Your child will be more comfortable with me because I will engage him in various activities in addition to academics.
