IELTS Writing Task 1 question
You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.
Write a letter to the parents. In your letter
- explain why you would like the job
- give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
- say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing to express my interest in living with your family and taking care of your six-year-old child.
I would like to do this job because I really like children. I feel lively by spending time and taking care of children. I also completed my ECE (Early Child Education) from York University. I had an previous 2 years of experience of taking care of 4 year old child and 6 year old child in Dubai. Their parents both were working and no one was there to take care of children, so being a neighbor I used to met them frequently. After completed my education I took care of both children for 2 years.
When I have free time, I am planning to do some online course related to child education. Also my brother is doing MBA in Australia, so I will visit him. I would be happy to support your family with childcare and daily activities.
