You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing regarding the advertisement that you have published in an Australian magazine to look after your six-year-old child for six months.

I would like to get the job because I am planning to live there in Australia after two years. Moreover, I want to know more about this country and discover all the things about it. Therefore, it is a suitable opportunity for me.

I would like to say that I am suitable for this job because I have prior knowledge and experience about child caring. Previously, I worked in the same position with a family here in my city for about one year. I was looking after their five-year-old daughter. It was really a fascinating experience and I enjoyed it.

In my free time there in Australia, I will search and explore the lifestyle of the people in the country. Also, I will learn about the services there.

I would be appreciated if you accept my demand to work with you.
