You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

I am writing to enquire about the advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Firstly, I would like to apply for the job. In particular, I am really interested with children’s.

Secondly, I would be suitable for the job . I am a registered midwife in my country who used to take care of newborns and children’s. Also, I am a mom of a 9 year old boy but he is not here with me. I believe I will do well on this job.

I would like to spend my free time talking to my love ones via phone call and I would like to visit some of the tourist spots near to my location as long as I have enough money to accommodate some of my expenses.
