Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task: explaining your interest, detailing your suitability, and describing your free time. However, the response to the third bullet point is quite weak; you mention living with your mother and her working status, but you do not clearly explain how you would spend your free time in Australia as requested. The ideas are generally relevant, but the development is somewhat limited and lacks the necessary focus on the specific requirements of the prompt. To improve, ensure each bullet point is fully addressed with clear, relevant details.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter follows a basic structure, but the paragraphing is inconsistent and does not effectively separate the different ideas. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link sentences and ideas smoothly; for example, the transition between your experience and your personal life is abrupt. While the reader can follow the general message, the lack of logical progression and the mechanical nature of the sentences hinder the flow. Using linking words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' would help improve the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive. You rely on basic phrasing, such as 'take care' and 'job', which appears multiple times. There are also errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'babysitter professional' instead of 'professional babysitter' and 'working women' instead of 'working woman'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is not sufficient to demonstrate a higher level of proficiency. You should aim to use more precise terminology related to childcare and professional experience to enhance your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede readability. Issues include incorrect verb forms ('which advertise' instead of 'which was advertised'), missing articles ('in the multiple states of the Australia'), and awkward sentence structures ('I m living with mom'). You rely heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors in syntax or agreement. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles and prepositions.
