Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining your interest, detailing your suitability, and describing your free-time plans. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, although the opening salutation 'Dear Guardian' is slightly unusual; 'Dear Sir or Madam' (as requested) or 'Dear Parents' would have been better. The ideas are relevant, but some points, such as your free-time plans, are quite brief and could have been expanded with more specific detail to fully develop the response. Overall, the purpose of the letter is clear and the requirements are met.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized into paragraphs, with each paragraph focusing on a specific requirement of the task. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'Furthermore' and 'As I'm', which help the flow of the letter. However, the progression between sentences is sometimes a bit mechanical, and the use of referencing could be more sophisticated. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different topics, which helps the reader follow your argument. To improve, try to use a wider variety of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'well-reputed', 'hands-on experience', and 'suitable candidate'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'securing a Nanny position that recently list' (should be 'listed') and 'delivery my results' (should be 'deliver'). Additionally, 'I have possess a certificate' is grammatically incorrect and shows a lack of precision. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, more careful attention to word forms and collocations would enhance the professional tone of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'I writing this letter' (missing auxiliary verb), 'I have been always excited to working' (incorrect verb form), and 'Since, I came across your position' (incorrect use of 'Since'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not prevent communication. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on subject-verb agreement, correct verb tenses, and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed accurately.
