You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in taking care of six years old child which I read this article in Australian newspaper.

I believe that this job is suitable for me. Because, I had completed my two years education in childcare profession and also have one year hands on practise in a daycare. Due to this, I am an appropriate person for this job. Moreover, I have patience to deal with stubborn children. I know how to arrange productive and creative day which makes toddler to be excited. Additionally, I am flexible to give basic routine for bathing, eating and sleeping of a children. Hence, a child can experience nurturing environment.

Aftr my job with childcare, I am willing to take care of an elder persons as well. I will presue my rest of time in social service. My brother's family is also in Australia and I will spend my rest of time with niece.
