IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to explain my expertises as a child care worker. As you know, you have got my resume for this job and I would like to grab this opportunity because this is my profession. I would like to come australia as a your employee.

In addition, I have diploma in child care, and 5 years experience as a nanny. I am a honest and polite person which will be suitable for you. Apart from this, I can speak english fluently.

Moreover, I can take care of your baby properly. To elaborate this, you would enjoy your leisure outside, and do your job or business freely. This will be great for you to spend time anywhere in australia while your baby in safe hands. I request you to hire me for this job. I will be looking forward you.
