You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am Julie Chaurasia an immigrant on student visa residing in Australia, recently I came across an advertisement which mentioned you are in search of someone, who could reside with your family for six months and look after six-year-old child. I would like to formally apply for the aforementioned position.

I'm a college student at Humber College pursuing early childhood education as my majors. Where we are trained in such a way that we could look after children while being enrolled in the course. It is a requirement to work off-campus for at-least six months and provide letter of recommendation from the employer. It would be a great opportunity to work at your place where I could imply my educational knowledge in real life.

As being the eldest in my family I have a great passion for looking after toddlers because I used to take care of my siblings in the absence of my parents with immense love and passion. I strongly suggest that I would be a suitable choice to hire for your child as I have a clear vision in this aspect.

I would like state my routine beside studies. I like to explore new places in the city which are not on the tourist list as I prefer less crowded place to channel my inner voice and regenerate my energy. Sometimes I also visit museum to know more about the history and rooted culture of Australia.
