You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

I hope this later finds you well. I am writing this letter regarding my interest about job you have posted in magazine.

I would like to get this job opportunity because I am moving to Australia for my university degree. I recently got my study visa but I have to take care of my expenses there and I feel that job is a excellent opportunity for me.

I feel I am a suitable candidate for this job because I have a six years of Early childhood educator job experience here in Canada, I am well aware of taking care of six-year old child. In addition, I am well experienced to deal with special needs and behaviours and I can support your child in study.

I am thinking if I have any leisure time there I would like to explore local culture by attending different cultural events or I can visit some famous place.

I am looking forward to hear from you. I hope you will give me a chance to work with you by taking care of your child.
