You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

Dear Sir,

I hope you are having a great day and I recently saw the advertisement you posted in the magazine for the care taker job for your six year old child. There are two major reasons i would like to take the job. Firstly i really enjoy spending time with childrens because they are creative and energetic. Secondly, I have completed a diploma in early childhood care along with 1 year of experience in the same.

The main characteristic which makes me a suitable match for the job is my educational background and work experience in early childhood education. Moreover, not only i can take care of your child but also i can teach them some things such as alphabets, poems and basic mathematics which will be beneficial for your child in his school journey.

Furthermore, with the help of this job i will get a chance to explore Australian culture and traditions more closely as well as i will gain more experience in handling the kids.
