IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.

Write a letter to the parents. In your letter

• explain why you would like the job
• give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
• say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear sir/madam,

I saw the advertisement in the Australian magazine that your are living with your family for six months and you have also six year old child. I would to like do job in your family house because i have experience of small children playing. My job will be the same.

I have already worked for the same job in India last year and i have totally 2 years experience in this field. So that, i will be suitable for this job. I have also practice in this field and gaining more knowledge and skills.

I have 3 days free in a week from monday to wednesday. I have many things that related to children knowledge and skills. On the duty time i never go anywhere further instructions. I will really appreciate to do this. I also care of your family and houses not on my duty time but after duty.

I am ready to do job at your house and glad to having the job.
