Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address the three requested points: you explain your interest in childcare, mention three years of daycare experience, and say you would play outdoor games in your free time. However, the response only partially fulfils the task because these ideas are brief and some details are unclear. For example, “I love to spend my time with children” gives a reason for applying, but you could explain what you enjoy about caring for them. Your suitability is supported mainly by experience and affection, with little detail about relevant skills or responsibilities. The free-time plan is also limited. The response is five words below the required minimum, which contributes to the task being underdeveloped. Add specific examples and complete each point more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The letter has a recognisable sequence: you introduce the advertisement, explain your interest and experience, describe a free-time activity, and close with a request. This gives the reader a basic sense of purpose. However, the ideas are crowded into a few paragraphs, and the progression is not always clear. “I am requesting, please once consider me” and “Therefore, since” create awkward links rather than showing a clear relationship between ideas. The transition from your childcare experience to outdoor activities also needs a clearer explanation. Use separate paragraphs for your application, suitability, and plans in Australia, and connect each point with straightforward linking phrases. This would make the letter easier to follow without relying on repeated requests.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the main message, including “daycare experience,” “children,” “leisure time,” and “play games.” There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “I am looking forward to your prompt response.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less natural. For instance, “love toward kids” and “feel proud on our decision” do not express your ideas idiomatically, while “a employ” is an incorrect form. Spelling errors such as “advertisemnet,” “interset,” and “appreicate” are noticeable. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for describing childcare skills, motivation, and leisure plans, and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use mostly simple sentence patterns, with a few attempts to combine ideas using “as,” “which,” and “since.” These attempts show some range, but the structures are often faulty or awkward. For example, “I have three years of a daycare experience” has problems with article use and the construction of the experience phrase, while “which helps to live physical fit” has an unclear subject and an incomplete grammatical pattern. The request “I am requesting, please once consider me” also combines structures incorrectly. Punctuation and spacing need attention, as in “me.According.” Practise accurate sentence patterns for explaining experience and making polite requests, then check articles, clause structure, and sentence boundaries.
